Primero Health has partnered with local churches and recreation centers to provide free Zumba classes at several different locations in Austin.

When you have diabetes, you need the support of family and friends. Primero Health provides support to help participants manage and control diabetes successfully. The support group provides an opportunity to share experiences in a social gathering environment. The Diabetes Support Group meets every month, on the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon.  Download Diabetes Support Group flyer.

Diabetes Education Training Opportunity

Primero Health of Austin is partnering with HNSA and HHPO (Hispanic Health Proffessions Organization) to provide UT students with an opportunity to provide local communities with diabetes education.

Primero Health is providing volunteers with specific teaching methods that will be needed before providing education.
