“Stronger Seniors” Fitness VideosThe Stronger Seniors Program focuses on improving the Body, Mind, and Spirit of senior citizens, those with limited mobility or recovering from injury or illness. Anne Pringle Burnell is the founder and creator of the Stronger Seniors® Workout Program as seen on Lifetime television, The History Channel, and CNN. Stronger Seniors is committed to improving the overall well-being of seniors everywhere. The body, especially when it gets older, isn’t designed for repetitive stress on joints, so the person needs to shift HOW they approach their workouts as they get older. For seniors, the shift should be towards exercises that maintain a healthy range of motion, with major emphasis on the stabilizers of the joints, strength and flexibility and movements in all planes of motion. Stronger Seniors workouts are designed with these principles. The Stronger Seniors workouts are slower paced, allowing time to make the mind/body connection, and gentle on the joints for older adults, arthritis conditions, beginners or anybody recovering from surgery or various illnesses.
